Phra Nang Phaya, curved knee type, is considered one of the most popular types among Phra Nang Phaya statues, which are highly regarded in the Benja Pakhi collection. This particular Phra Nang Phaya is well-proportioned and complete. The hair is styled in a pointed lotus shape, and both arms are intact, though somewhat shallow. The robe flows into the right armpit, with the Sanghati extending down to the middle of the abdomen.

The left arm is bent at the elbow, forming a hook-like shape, while the lap is curved, resembling a smooth arc.

The back is smooth, with gravel and small grains present. The front of the statue has traces of herbal lacquer completely covering it, which comes from the wooden roots inside the pagoda, along with traces of burial clay adhering firmly to the entire figure.

I would like to thank the owner of this curved knee type Phra Nang Phaya, Mr. Thanatat Thongniam, for generously providing images for my presentation.
