This Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang is yellow due to the use of tung oil, with a notably rich material composition. It has visible pinholes, small grainy materials, joss stick stems, and grains of Phra Sum Kor, with only a few sacred grains but no worm trails.

This amulet is the Large Mold, Type 2, and was pressed deeply into the mold, causing slight movement during removal, such as a slight tilt in the topknot. It features a characteristic line beside the ear, but due to the mold shift, the line moved closer to the cheek, making it appear as if the ear is faintly attached in the artistic style typical of the large molds.

The edges of the amulet are cut close to the mold frame with slightly rounded edges, indicating that this piece has been used and worn to some extent. The mold was pressed deeply, resulting in a thick and deeply carved arched niche, and the figure itself is deep and sharply defined, with a perpendicular stance similar to that of the Large Mold, Type 3.

The left foot is clearly defined and rests on the lap. The three levels of the base show some signs of mold movement, resulting in a shallower appearance in places, but overall, this is still considered a beautiful piece of Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Kositaram. The back is smooth, with some chipped edges showing slight ant trail patterns.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Thanathat Thongniam for providing the images of this Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang, Large Mold, Type 2, to accompany this academic description and share knowledge and experience on this platform.
